Dr. Vitalis is Professor of Political Science at the
University of Pennsylvania. His most recent book,
White World Order, Black Power Politics: the Birth of
American International Relations (2015), explores
the unwritten history of disciplinary international
relations, recovering the African-American
internationalist tradition.
